Become a Friend and help the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS) to celebrate our Centenary year in 2023 and cherish the dance and music traditions of Scotland. Your support today will help us to develop Scottish country dance and music worldwide for the benefit of current and future generations. Our Friends of the RSCDS Regular Giving scheme allows you to gain a better understanding of how fundraising helps us in our work.
Why Regular Giving Makes a Difference
The RSCDS runs a wide range of programmes, activities and events aimed at preserving and promoting Scottish country dancing. Through our Branches we bring people of all ages and abilities together for fun, fitness and friendship, while learning Scottish country dancing. We provide opportunities for dancers to improve their skills through workshops and teaching, we have various programmes to support and encourage young people to engage in dance and we offer a range of courses and learning materials for those who wish to teach others to dance or who are already teaching. As well as the activities of our Branches, we also provide music resources, run programmes for musicians, undertake research and provide a wealth of information about Scottish country dancing and music through web-based content and social media. The RSCDS depends on charitable support to be able to undertake all the work it does to promote and preserve Scottish country dancing.
By becoming a Friend of the RSCDS and choosing to give a regular monthly donation, you will be helping us to plan ahead and continue to develop and expand our programmes of activity. A regular gift allows us to plan for the future because we know, day in day out, that we will have a steady income stream that we can rely upon.

You can become a Friend of the RSCDS today by committing to make a regular monthly donation. We ask that you consider making a monthly donation of £5, $5, €5 or more each month or an annual donation of £60, $60, €60, but any donation amount on a monthly/annual basis will enable you to become a Friend. As a Friend of the RSCDS you will receive a special members pack, annual updates demonstrating the difference your support is making to our work and special invitations to our exclusive thank you events (both virtual and in person)

If you are a UK tax payer, you can boost your donation by 25p of Gift aid for every £1 you donate at no extra cost to you, this can be claimed by the RSCDS from the tax you pay for the current tax year.
